Extra-Capsular Dissection in Parotid Pleomorphic Adenoma: A Viable Alternative Technique to Superficial Parotidectomy?

Objective: To assess the effectiveness of extra-capsular dissection in parotid pleomorphic adenoma as compared to superficial parotidectomy. Material and Method: The study took place over time a year, from January 2021 December at Department General Surgery, Liaquat University Medical Health Sciences. All patients who presented with adenoma, age more than 12 years either gender, were included. cases divided into groups based on type surgical technique. Patients underwent parotidectomy kept group A those B. During personal follow-up presentations, all received clinical examination, facial nerve assessment, standardized interviews after surgery. Clinical signs weakness Frey's syndrome recorded. data collected by proforma SPSS version 26 was used for purpose analysis. Results: total 41 selected particularly studied dividing them two groups.
